About the Artists

Abby and Arielle were raised in New Jersey TV rooms, playing every Nintendo game they could get their hands on. Being less than 2 years apart in age, proximity would always lead to bickering, but the two would reconnect over Super Mario Brothers, the Legend of Zelda, and Animal Crossing. with one entering the veterinary field and the other in climate science, their interests and paths have diverged, but even from states away, their shared love for video games, Studio Ghibli movies, and all things nerdy would prevail and keep them inseparable. After decades of being Player one and Player two, they have teamed up again to create Peach and Nellie’s Nerdy Creations (named lovingly after each of their dearly departed pets to channel their interests into crafts and share with the community.

Abby

Abby grew up with an affinity for animals. The moment she turned 18 she began working with dogs and cats, starting at a small family owned daycare, and ending up at a prestigious specialty veterinary hospital.

All that knowledge didn't stop her. She held onto her love for anime, video games, and all things nerdy. She started cosplaying in 2021, and was so intrigued by the culture, art, and craftsmanship, that she began to pursue that as a hobby.

Abby is also an aspiring actress, hoping to pursue her true passion for performance, of which she discovered while cosplaying.  She lives to be on camera.

Abby draws all of her favorite Pokemon, and other NPCs, and turns that art into cute and funny stickers for cars, water bottles, laptops, and more!

She also enjoys crocheting wearables like hats, but her favorite items to crochet are what she calls her 'cursed goblins', which are failed attempts at cute plushies, that ended up so adorable she decided to share them with the world.

Arielle

Arielle grew up with an interest in the environmental sciences, particularly relating to sustainability. This, combined with her passion for unique styling, led her to begin creating new jewelry from reclaimed beads and findings. Arielle believes in giving everything a second life, and began making these earrings with the intention of repurposing old, broken, or out of style jewelry into one of a kind jewelry pieces. As a PhD student, this hobby also allows her to continue funding her degree, while providing an opportunity to continue exercising her creativity.

Arielle hand crafted each piece of jewelry by hand, with 95% recycled materials found in thrift stores, antique shops, and broken jewelry pieces of her own.

Arielle is also advanced at crochet, and enjoys making little trinkets, and even clothing in her free time.
